37signals Launches a Product Blog

The guys at 37signals have launched a blog devoted entirely to updates and information about their product line. I’ve been using Backpack for a while now and loving it. Loving it so much, in fact, that I want to start a consulting company just so I can have an excuse to use Basecamp to manage a project.

Maybe I’ll sign up for the free version and just manage my CSI: Miami-watching schedule with it.

So do “dead hookers” go in the “milestones” or “people” tab?

    Milestones would be:

    - Process DNA samples from crime scene
    - Have Horatio threaten suspects in half-whisper
    - Talk to dead hooker’s corpse during autopsy as if she were alive because you’ve gone batty after so many years of dealing with corpses
    - Pwn suspect(s) with crazy cross-referenced evidence and smug monologue

Basecamp is meh - it’s fine for small projects, but there are some big problems w/ it if you have more than 10 projects going at a time…
