A New Addition
April 3, 2007
We had about 20 minutes to kill, my girlfriend and I, so we thought we’d stop and check out the puppies being sold on the side of the road. What harm could it do, really?
Enter Ripley, our new chocolate Labrador Retriever. He’s precocious and mouthy and all the things that puppies are that non-pet-owners loathe to hear about from pet owners.
Bask in the glory of a puppy sliding backwards on a hardwood floor.

We got a crate the day we brought him home. He does pretty well with it, although I have yet to get him to go in there willingly.
Feed him in the crate only, and only give him 30 mintues to eat. At the end of the alloteed time take the food away till his next feeding. My lab is 5 and she still eats in her crate, often she gets bored sitting around with Wendy and I and we find her curled up snoring in the back of her Pet-Porter
