Know Why the Banned Book Sings

Banned Book Week began yesterday (yeah yeah, day late.) Is there a better way to celebrate than reading a banned book? The Catcher in the Rye may be a little cliché, but have you ever read Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson? I actually read that one in middle school. Maybe it was my youth and inexperience, but I remember being quite moved.

So do the world a favor and pick up a once-banned book and give it a hearty reading. And then go out and find the books that are currently in danger of being banned/challenged/what have you and give them a read. And spread the good word.
